3. Remove from the heat, stir in the coconut oil/olive oil and freshly ground black pepper.
4. Mix well and leave to cool. Once cool place in your chosen storage container-this will keep for 2-3 weeks.
5. Can be frozen if there is too much or for easier consumption!
DOSAGE:
Humans: ¼teaspoon twice daily ( best with food).
Horses: 1 teaspoon twice daily with their feed.
Dogs/cats: 1/8 to ¼ teaspoon twice daily with their food.
Please start with small dosages, increase by a ¼ of a teaspoon each week until you feel you have your desired result, you may feel it or in your pets you will see the change. Some people find 1/4 tsp twice daily works while others progress up to 1 tsp 3 times a day! There is no set amount other than what works for you. In this recipe there is additional pepper, this is added to give a higher piperine content it also gives you the additional benefits that you can get from pepper, and increase absorption, this is personal choice and if you prefer the original recipe it is detailed below.
Which ever recipe you use, is your choice they are both good, but as noted above you will need to play with the dose to find what works best for you.
English Recipe:(this recipe is a well published recipe so not covered by ©)
125gms Turmeric powder.
500 Ml of water.
2 teaspoons of fresh ground black pepper.
70ml Cold pressed olive oil or Raw virgin coconut oil.
place turmeric and water into a pan and stir over a low heat until thick.
The add oil and pepper, stir until well mixed. Allow to cool and either place in sterilised jar and keep in fridge or place in a suitable container in the freezer.
FRIDGE: 4 WEEKS
FREEZER 3 MONTHS.
Piperine, from fresh ground black pepper, will increase the absorbency of
other substances in your stomach- so if you are on regular medication, you may
experience a higher absorbency rate than intended for those drugs. Please
consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Recent studies have advised against the use of coconut oil. Coconut oil is 86% saturated fat. Now thats high and really you want to reduce your daily intake of saturated fat for good health.
The amount of coconut oil in a dose of golden paste is not a large amount, maybe less then a gram per dose, so if you are concerned about saturated fats but still want the best results look at other parts of your diet and reduce it there

We often see posted my paste has gone mouldy what can I do.
You can only chuck it out, and probably should have done a couple of days ago as the mould spoors were there, you just could not see them.
How can you prevent this, not easy, when you make the paste you do not use a high enough heat to kill all the germs, they are going to be there in the water and on the tools you use. You can use sterile tools, pans and jars to reduce the chance and until you open the jar it should keep well for a couple of weeks.
Once opened always use a sterile implement to remove your dose from the jar, always use a jar size that holds maybe enough for 4 or 5 days.
If you make too much freeze the excess.
Simple rules I know but sometimes we are eager to get that lovely spice down us we sometimes forget simple hygiene, a little extra preparation could save you money
